Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data DataAssistant AI collects, why, and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to the app, our website and support channels.
 

1. What we collect

  • Account data — name, work email, company, password hash, plan and billing status (payment card details are held by Stripe, not by us).

  • Mailbox data — with your OAuth consent we read messages from the mailboxes you connect (sender, subject, body, timestamps) to analyse them and draft replies, and we send messages you approve. We store OAuth tokens encrypted.

  • Knowledge Bases and contacts — product data, prices, FAQs and contact lists you upload or import.

  • Usage and tracking data — campaign opens (estimated), clicks and replies; app usage logs; IP address and consent timestamp at sign-up.

2. How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, draft and send email on your instruction, show team dashboards to your team admins, calculate quotas and billing, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data and do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Processors

Google Cloud (hosting, database, embeddings), Anthropic (draft generation), Stripe (payments), Google and Microsoft (mailbox APIs), and Sentry (error monitoring — technical error reports only, configured to exclude message contents and personal data). Each processes data under contracts that restrict use to providing their service to us.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. Disconnecting a mailbox stops synchronisation; deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days, except billing records we must retain by law.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (EU/UK GDPR, Thailand PDPA, Taiwan PDPA, Singapore PDPA and others) you may access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Email : info@dataassistant-ai.com and we will respond within 30 days. Team members can ask their team admin to remove them from a team.
 

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and logged, and secrets are held in a managed vault. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to info@dataassistant-ai.com 
 

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies / local storage for sign-in and preferences. No advertising trackers.
 

8. Changes

We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email. Version history is available on request.
